"On the first day of our recent trip to Turks and Caicos, I lost my wedding ring in the ocean. With Tropical Storm Emily fast approaching and 40mph winds whipping across the island, I thought there was no chance of ever seeing the ring again. Luckily, David was able to use his skills to find the ring and return it to me - safe and sound, and with a fresh polish.
My wife and I are very grateful."

On our recent trip to Turks and Caicos, I lost my diamond engagement ring in the ocean. I returned home and found David's website. I thought that it was a long shot but I had nothing to loose so I emailed him. He replyed back quickly and said that he had arrived in Turks the night before and that he would go look the next morning. Much to my delight and amazement, he emailed me the next afternoon with a picture of my ring! He returned it to my friends, who were still there vacationing, and I now have the ring back on my finger! David, thankyou again for searching and finding my ring. Random acts of kindness and blessings do exist sometimes when you least expect them!

This silver ring is engraved with a man's name and a date.
Found at the Beaches' Italian Village in the water. When found,
the ring was completely black with tarnish. Once it was cleaned,
the extenxive "sand blasting" can be seen, an indication of how long this ring has been in the ocean. |
Lost on the volleyball court
at Seven Stars.
Found 10 minutes later !

After you learned that my wife's engagement ring was lost in the powdery, white sand of Grace Bay beach, you selflessly sprung into action and found it. I applaud you not only for this website but also for your good natured efforts to reconnect people with their lost valuables. Brian G |

In September 2009 you helped my husband find his wedding ring in Turks and Caicos. We just arrived on our honeymoon and within an hour of checking in at the 'Sands' resort we found ourselves looking for his lost wedding band about 16 feet out from shore. Nine days had past and we still hadn't found anything and as our last day was winding down we ran into you at Hemingway's bar. You had found my husbands ring under 6 inches of sand. Today the ring still bears the scratches from the sand and we love that. Thank you for your kindness!!!

"When Andrei lost his ring--only two days after our wedding--we were saddened but did our best to not let it ruin our honeymoon. However, our hopes of seeing it again were NOT high. Then we met David, and when he found the ring the following afternoon it felt like a miracle! Thank you!"--Lauren

My name is Lee Glowacki and I lost my wedding ring in the water behind the Beaches resort on June 20th 2008. Thanks to David Stone a miracle has taken place. He was so kind to find my ring and inform the Beaches security staff . They were so terrific for keeping my information available to get a hold of me. You don't often find people in this world who are concerned so much for others and take the time to help their sorrows. Thank you so much again to the security staff at Beaches and especially to David Stone who truly has eased my pain and suffering. I never imagined my ring would ever be found, let alone, returned to me.Sincerely,Lee Glowacki |

Another ring lost
(but now found)
while tossing the football ! |
White gold diamond ring.
lost 1st day on vacation.
Found the next day!!
I am so grateful to you for finding the ring. I cannot express it enough. You saved my vacation!! I had just gotten laid off from my job after 17 years. To have lost my job and my ring, which has much sentimental value to me, was just too much. You were like a miracle basically. I could not have imagined flying away from the island knowing pretty much where it was and not being able to get it. I hope you keep doing this service because it is pretty special. |
I received a call from an island realtor whose client lost a 25th anniversary wedding ring. After spending several hours searching and snorkeling, the realtor made some inquiries and was directed to my site. (How many realtors would snorkel for hours for a client ?) I was scheduled to leave the island the next day at noon, but the realtor agreed to meet me early in the morning and we started searching. After about 2 1/2 hours, I found it ! The realtor returned the ring to his client, and I quickly changed, rinsed off the detector, and grabbed a cab to the airport !
We were just recently reunited with the ring, and we are overwhelmed with the good fortune of finding you and then you finding the ring. F.R. |
